Placing a child for adoption is not “just about the baby.” It is about the expectant mom. Christian Family Services has worked with over 500 women who made the difficult and selfless decision to place their baby for adoption. In each case, we aim to build a relationship full of love, trust and respect.
“How do I put my baby up for adoption?” CFS Caseworkers receive this question via text, call or email from women with an unplanned pregnancy. CFS Caseworkers always answer our phones and texts ourselves. The response is a kind, and calm: “You have just taken the first step-asking for information.”
Caseworkers at Christian Family Services will prepare you, as best as we can, on what to expect and what you may feel when placing your child for adoption. We want to help make sure your adoption plan looks the way you want it to, which includes your baby never entering the Foster Care System.
