Dear Beloved Birth Parent,

Hello. We thank you for taking a closer look into our life journey and we are honored by your consideration. Even though we have never met you, we have been praying for you. We have been praying that you will be given guidance and peace as you make an adoption plan for your baby. We cannot imagine the difficult decisions you are making in your life at this time. However, we can imagine you are a very courageous person who loves sacrificially. You are precious to the Lord and you are fearfully and wonderfully made, just like your baby. We praise God for your decision to choose life for your child. Please allow us to introduce ourselves: we are Cristiano (42 yrs.) & Aimee (43 yrs.) and we are very excited to become parents for the first time through the gift of adoption. We believe the Lord has given us the strong desire to become a Dad and a Mom. Through the help and provision of God, we believe we can provide a loving, Christ-centered home for your child.

We continue to be amazed with the journey God has taken us on together! The Lord joined our lives by bringing a young Brazilian man from his native country and a young Florida girl to meet in the city of St. Louis, MO in the Fall of 1996. We began to date in 1998 after forming the foundation of a good friendship and we married a year later. We just celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary! We have been a military family for the past ten years. Cristiano is a U.S. Navy Chaplain and Aimee is a homemaker. We currently live in Jacksonville, FL. As a couple, we have an appreciation for other cultures and people. We value our families and spending time with them. Cristiano’s family lives in Fortaleza, located on the northeast coast of Brazil. Cristiano and his family speak Portuguese. Aimee side of the family lives in Ocala, FL where she was born and raised. We are a proud Uncle & Aunt to our five nephews and niece. We both enjoy watching college football even though we cheer for opposing teams. Traveling, watching movies, going out to eat, walks on the beach and talking over coffee are just a few of the events we like to share together. We are truly best friends.

For many years we have longed for our family to be expanded, and we have prayed for the Lord to grant us children of our own. We know families are grown in many ways. One of those ways is through adoption, which has always been close to our hearts. We both come from families that have experienced the gift of adoption. We have struggled with infertility for the past fifteen years. In 2009 we decided to pursue adoption. While going through our adoption process we experienced a failed adoption due to the birthparents choosing to parent. All of these experiences and struggles have been very difficult for us and many times we have questioned what God’s plans were for us to become parents. We have been sustained through all of the disappointment and heartache by the amazing grace and love of our Heavenly Father. The Lord has brought much healing to our hearts and lives over the past 6 years, and we believe our hearts are being moved to pursue adoption again.

We know you have a journey of your own, and we pray that God will bless your life journey as He has promised to do: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~ Jeremiah 29:11. You are providing a very loving and sacrificial gift to your child. It is our desire that you be remembered by your birth child in such a way that would continue to bring healing to your heart. Most of all we pray that God would be glorified in your life and in the adoption plan you are making for your child. Thank you for allowing us to share a glimpse of our life journey with you. May the Lord bless you always.

With Love,

Cristiano and Aimee
